Our story begins in the late 1930s, when Paul and Betty Light first opened their doors in Deep River, Iowa. Four generations later, Light’s Insurance and Bear Creek Insurance now serve families, farmers, and businesses across Deep River, Brooklyn, Victor, and New Sharon.
Today, both agencies are owned by Michael Geiger of Deep River, who carries forward his family’s proud tradition of service. Michael believes deeply in supporting our local communities and has no plans to move offices away from the towns we call home.
